A new tv ad by Braun for its electric razor features a Mafia boss enjoying the "irrestistibly smooth" cheeks of a family soldier:
The new ad is set in the 1950s and sees a young mafia member arrive at a rendezvous by Cadillac. Stepping out, he is welcomed by a middle-aged Godfather figure with open arms, who embraces him and kisses him in a continental style. He then goes back for second helpings much to the discomfort of the young man, while on looking fellow members of the mafia gang exchange uncomfortable looks. The Godfather goes on to stroke the face of the young man uncontrollably, while looking at him lovingly. It closes with the line, "Uncontrollably smooth, since 1950."
Gay mobsters? It's hardly unprecedented.
