Joseph "Joe the German" Watts, indicted last February with Gambino capo John "Jackie the Nose" D'Amico for the 1989 murder of Staten Island businessman Fred Weiss, may be facing two years behind bars for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release in connection with an earlier conviction by cavorting with a reputed gangster in 2006 according to John Marzulli from the Daily News:
Investigators were secretly conducting surveillance of Gambino mobsters in the summer of 2006 when longtime mob associate Joseph Watts popped up on their radar being driven in a sleek, black limousine. Watts, 67, was observed meeting Gambino capo Leonard DiMaria at Aunt Suzie's and La Villa - Italian restaurants on Fifth Ave. in Park Slope.
