The operation began when Lester recruited an undercover KCSO officer, who became a full-fledged member of the gang for 14 months. During that time, the officer observed numerous illegal incidents involving drugs and weapons crimes among the bikers. Lester and Foster are facing charges related to threats made at gunpoint to the undercover officer in December. Officers are searching the clubhouse for gang records, drugs, drug paraphernalia, photographs and any other items that might have been used to hide illegal activity.
*** Dennis R. Best, the president of the Limited Few Motorcycle Club in Cleveland, OH, was given a five-year prison sentence as reported by The Chattanoogan:
The Cleveland Police Department on July 28, 2005, executed a search warrant at the clubhouse at 973 Gaut St. Found were 22 firearms, 1,748 rounds of ammunition, a meth lab, three grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, numerous baggies with cut corners, digital scales, two explosive devices, two hand grenade simulators and a gas grenade.
*** Three reputed members "of the Bay Riders, a motorcycle club that police say is an affiliate of the Hells Angels, have been charged with assault and gang enhancements after one allegedly stabbed a victim during a brawl" last month outside the Broadway Showgirls Cabaret strip club in San Francisco, CA as reported by Lauren Smiley for SF Weekly:
The three alleged Bay Riders are Angel Johansen, 27, from the peninsula; Jonathan O'Keefe, 22, from San Francisco, who was wearing a Bay Riders jacket at the time of the alleged crime, according to police records; and Heinrich Dorsch, 23, from the peninsula. The district attorney charged all three with assault with a deadly weapon; two counts of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury; and participation in a criminal street gang.
