The Los Angeles City Council has initiated a boycott of Arizona because the state has adopted a law to secure its border with Mexico and enforce immigration laws. Meanwhile, Tinseltown's seemingly violent race pandering Machete is due out in September. Given that 73 percent of Americans support Arizona's efforts to address the drug trafficking, human smuggling and other crimes that result from a broken border, LA's attempts to economically attack and vociferously demonize the good people of the Grand Canyon State very well may backfire. Indeed, if any locale should be boycotted, it's Los Angeles.
