In the federal racketeering trial against reputed Chicago Outfit capo Michael Sarno prosecutors allege, among other things, that the Large Guy ordered the bombing of C&S Coin Operated Amusements after learning that it "was going to install illegal video gambling machines in a Lyons diner in Sarno's territory" as reported by Andy Grimm for the Chicago Tribune. Prosecutors yesterday showed the jury 19 photos of the damage from the blast as reported by Chuck Goudie for WLS: "The storefront was a mess of splintered wood and shattered glass. A small crater marked the spot where the bomb had been placed. Shrapnel from the front door shot through two interior doors and stuck into a back wall."
