A federal judge ruled that reputed Philly mob boss Joseph Ligambi posed a danger to the community who should be denied bail pending his trial as reported by Maryclaire Dale for The Associated Press.
Ligambi was arrested last month on racketeering charges involving a video poker racket.
In deciding to keep Ligambi in jail rather than releasing him on house arrest the judge cited concerns that the accused mobster might have access to phones and computers by which he could communicate orders to thwart cooperating witnesses.
