In Naples, Italy police have arrested Ludovico Ucciero -- dubbed "Gomorrah's businessman" -- and seized related assets worth 50 million euros or $75 million for his alleged role in helping the powerful Casalesi clan from the Camorra or Neapolitan Mafia "enrich itself through control of trash removal and incineration" as reported by The Associated Press: "several Casalesi hitmen who turned state's evidence after their arrest helped reveal Ucciero's alleged links to the Camorra."
The Camorra was made infamous by anti-Mafia writer Roberto Saviano in his international bestseller Gomorrah which later became a movie.
