Mexican federal police have arrested the suspected boss of La Linea which serves as an enforcement crew for the Juarez drug cartel across the border from El Paso, TX as reported by The Associated Press.
Jose Antonio Acosta Hernandez a/k/a "El Diego" was a former cop before breaking bad who allegedly has admitted responsibility for 1,500 murders during the drug war with the rival Sinaloa cartel for control over local turf in Ciudad Juarez and smuggling routes into the United States.
Last March U.S. prosecutors indicted Acosta for allegedly masterminding the 2010 shooting ambush which killed American consulate employee Lesley Ann Enriquez and her husband El Paso sheriff's deputy Arthur Redelfs.
