CSX Transportation has filed a federal racketeering suit against Robert Peirce & Associates for allegedly engaging in fraud "in its pursuit of claimants and settlements" in asbestos litigation as reported by Rich Lord for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "CSX said the firm used 'intentionally unreliable mass screenings' by a radiologist who had a criminal history and a doctor who has been accused of tailoring diagnoses to fit lawsuits."
