Sal Pelullo says that just because he talked like a tough guy doesn't make him a violent guy, and he is seeking release on bail pending trial for his alleged role with reputed Lucchese mobster Nicodemo Scarfo Jr. in the extortionate takeover and systematic looting of the publicly-traded mortgage company FirstPlus Financial Group, Inc. as reported by George Anastasia from The Philadelphia Inquirer. According to federal prosecutors Pelullo told a member of the FirstPlus board that if he ever cooperated with authorities "his wife would be raped, and his children would be sold into prostitution."
