Gaeton Lucibello has rescinded an earlier plea agreement with federal prosecutors after telling the judge he only entered into it for the purpose of getting a hip replacement while serving his 63-month prison sentence under the deal as reported by George Anastasia for philly.com. The uninsured 59-year-old defendant was among the thirteen charged last year for his suspected involvement in a gambling racket allegedly headed by reputed Philly mob boss Joe Ligambi. The case is scheduled for a September trial.
