Prosecutors in Naples, Italy are investigating whether Matteo Garrone, the director behind the anti-Mafia film Gomorrah, may have illegally collaborated with Camorra crime families during the film's making as reported by Eric J. Lyman for The Hollywood Reporter: "based on statements from Oreste Spagnuolo, a former Camorra figure turned informant, authorities are looking into whether Garrone may have paid a €20,000 ($26,000) bribe to [reputed] crime kingpin Alessandro Cirollo."
