Paul "Doc" Gaccione is on trial for allegedly serving as the getaway driver in the 1992 hit on Genovese capo Angelo Sangiuolo, and yesterday mobster-turned-informant John "Big John" Mamone testified that Doc was "all excited" about the murder as reported by Douglas Montero for the New York Post: "we did a piece of work,' Gaccione allegedly bragged to Mamone." Federal prosecutors allege that Sangiuolo was hit for robbing Genovese gambling operations in the Bronx.
