In a bid to crack down on organized crime in Japan a new law makes it "illegal for individuals and companies to to deal with the Yakuza and people related to them" in order to "choke [their] source of revenue" as reported by Al Jazeera. The law is similar to Italy's prohibition against Mafia association, and the United States may want to adopt a comparable measure targeted at mobsters if it's really serious -- fat chance, LOL! -- about squeezing organized crime from the legitimate economy.
