Federal prosecutors indicted New Jersey Senator Robert "Bully Bob" Menendez and his political patron Salomon Melgen on corruption charges in 2015, and now in an unrelated case the Florida doctor has been convicted for bilking taxpayers of $90 million through Medicare fraud which does not bode well for the dirtbag politician as reported by The New York Times:
A jury in Palm Beach County, Fla., found Dr. Melgen guilty on all 67 counts of Medicare fraud, and according to prosecutors in the case, he could spend at least 15 years in prison. The conviction and the sentence he now faces could increase pressure on Dr. Melgen to cooperate with the authorities in the case against Mr. Menendez, his co-defendant in their pending trial.
Menendez and Melgen face a September trial in Newark, NJ on the corruption charges according to the NYT story: "the senator is accused of trading political favors for free trips on the doctor's private jet, lavish vacations to his resort home in the Dominican Republic and a stay at a five-star hotel in Paris."
Apparently the feds suspect Bully Bob and his political patron may be pervs who bang child prostitutes as reported by the Daily News: "Justice Department lawyers say the hooker allegations 'were not so easily disprovable as the defendants suggest," and "they received 'specific, corroborated allegations that defendants Menendez and Melgen had sex with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.'"
