Mob Wives reality star Alicia DiMichele received only probation after embezzling union funds from a trucking company that she ran with her husband Edward Garofalo Jr. as reported by Oren Yaniv for the Daily News: "the defendant also agreed to pay $40,000 in restitution to the fund of Teamsters Local 282 plus thousands more in expected proceeds from a pending lawsuit involving her husband's company."
Her hubby, a reputed Colombo associate, was sentenced last December to seven years on a racketeering conviction involving a host of underlying crimes including murder conspiracy and witness intimidation as reported by John Marzulli for the Daily News.
Edward Garofalo Jr.'s father Eddie was slain in 1990 by former Gambino underboss Sammy 'The Bull" Gravano, and the murdered victim's brother Emmanuel "Manny" Garofalo apparently is not a fan of Mob Wives as reported by John Marzulli for the Daily News:
"Alicia has chosen to humiliate my nephew Edward and our entire family in the name of my brother who she never even knew," said Manny Garofalo. "The show’s stupid. I think it's disgraceful. It's blood money. It's my brother's blood."
That sentiment about the show likely is shared by many.
