Kentucky lawyer Eric Conn went on the lam six months ago to avoid sentencing on his conviction for orchestrating a $550 million Social Security fraud scheme, and now the dirtbag fugitive has been apprehended in Honduras as reported by the Courier Journal:
Conn built the third-largest disability practice in the U.S. by plastering his face on billboards across Eastern Kentucky and promoted his business at events using a team of young women he called "Conn's Hotties." He pleaded guilty to conspiring with a former administrative law judge and a psychologist to enrich themselves by winning disability payments for Conn's clients regardless of whether they were entitled to benefits. He also admitted to taking $5.7 million in fraudulently obtained fees and paying off the judge.
What a racket the lawsuit industry can be.
